to hear this one delivered (probably poorly) as the opening bit in some

BushLAN uses VHF to deliver access

Australian researchers have a neat idea: Use VHF to deliver a 250 kbps Internet signal at distances up to 40 kilometres. The researchers say higher bandwidth rates are possible at shorter distances.
