Ukraine President Viktor Yuschenko was at the NATO Summit in Brussels, a historic occasion given the nature of the peaceful "Orange Revolution" at Christmas time that saw Yushchenko emerge victorious and given the fact that it was, after all, NATO.
Yushchenko told the leaders of Europe that Ukraine no longer wants to be Europe's neighbour. Instead, it wants to be part of Europe, to be integrated into the European fabric.
This photo was taken at a joint press conference Yushchenko held with NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer. I was lucky enough to get a seat right in the front row in front of Yushchenko's podium -- a perfect place to snap this pic.
