Members of the Parliamentary Press Gallery may park in the three areas on the Parliamentary Precinct. It’s all first-come, first-served and the spots on the “The Slope” are where those who come first get served. It’s closest to everyones offices and closest to the various Parliamentary Buildings (That's the West Block in the background). The Slope is so named because the roadway where the parking spots are is on a slope, descending down to The Pit.
