Major Jean Maisonneuve, among the first Canadian Air Force Pilot to be certified on a Boeing C-17, consults a map during a 45-minute "county" run near CFB Trenton. Maisonneuve says the giant C-17 handles like a fighter jet. Maisonneuve has flown USAF C-17s into combat zones in the Middle East and will soon be taking this plane, Canadian Air Force 701, into Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan.
