Cabinet speculation: The Rookies

As he gets set to name his cabinet on Thursday, Prime Minister Stephen Harper has a relatively strong crop of MPs who are either first-time MPs or, like B.C.'s John Duncan, returning to the Commons after sitting out the Parliament. Today, we take a look at a few of the names that keep coming up in Ottawa gossip:

When I clicked on "read more" I got this message:

Hmm, but something's not quite right. It takes about a minute rather than seconds to open up your site, or even just clicking on "reply."
No changes at my end to cause it. Could it be the inclusion of a digital version of the Ottawa Citizen article?

I wonder if critics will stop saying how thin the talent of PM Harper's front bench is. Their usual explanation is: "How many ministers can the average Canadian name?" as if in previous governments ministers were household names to the "average Canadian."
