Who pays for this blog?
I receive no fees, considerations, etc. etc. for the posts on this blog nor do I have any plans to accept any. My salary is paid by Canwest Global Communications Corp. I work for that company as the Ottawa-based National Affairs Correspondent for Canwest News Service.

Thanks for the info & insights, David. As others have already said, I don't know of many (if any) that actually consider Ms. Taber to be a "journalist" as her agenda seems to be all about promoting the Liberal party. Re: CPC pushing for female candidates (or any party, for that matter) - I've been to a couple of different riding elections and there were female candidates on the slate. They just weren't the best organized so didn't win their riding.
